Economic and Commercial Law

I am a lawyer and a Ph.D. candidate in Commercial Law at the Faculty of Law of the University of São Paulo (USP) and at the University of Vienna (Universität Wien), in Austria. I hold a master’s degree in Economic Law and Political Economy from USP and was a researcher at the Law School of Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV). Currently, my research focuses on private enforcement of Competition law.

I am a member of the NewGen of CAM-CCBC, of the Special Commission on Antitrust and Economic Regulation of the OAB/SP (São Paulo State Bar Association), and a junior member of ASCOLA – Academic Society for Competition Law. I act as a reviewer for the Journal of Competition Defense (RDC), published by CADE.

My legal practice is focused on Competition Law matters, with an emphasis on administrative proceedings before the Brazilian Competition Authority (CADE), as well as the guidance of cases that interrelate competition with other areas of law. I am experienced in preparing legal opinions and strategies for dispute prevention or resolution.

In the field of Commercial Law, I work on corporate disputes and drafting of documents and commercial contracts, which are essential for the proper regulation of relationships between companies, suppliers, and consumers.

Throughout my career, I have been an associate at a boutique law firm in São Paulo, specializing in Economic Law opinions and arbitration, and a partner at a law firm in the southern region of Brazil, always dealing with Economic and Commercial Law issues. These experiences have allowed me to act as a consultant in significant cases involving ESG strategy, especially in the aspect of corporate governance.

My expertise also includes contentious matters, handling cases at the Brazilian Courts and in arbitration.

I am admitted to practice law in Brazil, registered in the Ordem dos Advogados do Brasil, Section of São Paulo.
